Madison is a trial lawyer who represents businesses, governmental entities, insurance companies, and professionals involved in complex litigation. She has experience litigating cases in state courts, including the Idaho Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, and before administrative agencies. Madison has extensive trial experience and has had over 50 criminal and child protection trials.

Madison is engaged in Idaho’s legal community and has devoted many volunteer hours to enhancing Idaho’s legal system and the legal profession. Her pro bono work includes representation of Guardians ad Litems who serve as volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in cases of child abuse, neglect, and abandonment. She is a well-respected member of the state bar and has served on several committees and boards.

Madison’s prior legal experience includes:

  • Lead Deputy Attorney General for the Idaho Office of the Attorney General where she represented the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare’s (IDHW) Family and Community Service program statewide and oversaw ten attorneys and eight administrative assistants. She provided legal support for policy development, civil litigation, and child protection cases. She also handled child protection appeals before the Idaho Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. She routinely did legal academy training for social workers employed by the Department.
  • Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Canyon County (Idaho) Prosecuting Attorney’s Office where she litigated 100+ criminal cases, including homicides, domestic violence, drug crimes, violent crimes, and theft; negotiated settlements with opposing counsel; and served as a liaison for several law enforcement agencies and conducted legal education training.

  • Police Letter of Commendation from the Nampa Police Department for her work on behalf of crime victims (2015)
