GF is proud to sponsor the Boys & Girls Club of Ada County’s Wild West Auction on April 28th! The Wild West Auction raises funds to make it possible to create a safety net for the most vulnerable kids in our community. The Clubs help close the “achievement gap” and help low-income kids keep pace with their wealthier peers by providing enriching experiences, meaningful relationships, consistency, and reliability that they may otherwise go without, and their programs promote physical exercise, nutritional education, and focus on feeding kids healthy meals every day. Last year, they served 200,000 free, nutritious meals in Ada County!
Join us in wearing red on Go Red for Women Day (Friday, February 3rd) and help us raise awareness for heart disease and stroke. Did you know that cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year, but the simple truth is that most cardiovascular diseases can still be prevented with education and healthy lifestyle changes. The American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women, is designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally.

GF is proud to support Idaho Women Lawyers (IWL) and the Wassmuth’s Center for Human Rights! The Wassmuth Center is building a new education center that will include a tribute wall to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and displayed on the tribute wall will be a sculpture by Boise artist Benjamin Victor (please insert hyperlink to Benjamin’s site: https://benjaminvictor.com/) titled, “Transcendent Justice.” Benjamin is the only living artist to have four sculptures in Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol Building. IWL’s goal is to raise $30,000, and IWL and its members have already contributed nearly half that.
