Jennifer L. Swajkoski - Attorney
Jennifer Swajkoski is a civil litigation attorney who focuses her practice on insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, and organizing strategic litigation based focus groups. She recently completed a semester in practice at St. Luke’s Health System where she reviewed and updated policies and contracts to ensure compliance with new changes in the law. She also gained pre-litigation experience in both the employment law and medical malpractice practice areas. Prior to that, Jenny served as a judicial extern for Chief Magistrate Judge Ronald E. Bush, United States District Court for the District of Idaho. During law school, Jenny served on the Student Bar Association (SBA) as the Boise Vice President and class representative. She was also a member of the University of Idaho College of Law National Moot Court Team, on which she had the incredible opportunity to argue at the Idaho Supreme Court in front of the Honorable Justices Roger S. Burdick and Joel D. Horton. Jenny received the Outstanding Student Service award in recognition of her superior student leadership and organization at the Boise campus and for her role on the SBA. The faculty and administration of the College of Law selected one student at each campus to receive this award. Jenny has been an assistant coach of the Boise High School girls’ varsity soccer team since 2013. She is a board member of Laurel’s Legacy, a small non-profit whose mission is to provide financial and other resources to individuals and families that have been affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Jenny is also a committee member of the University of Idaho Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), an organization that encourages interaction between graduate students and professional communities through programming and networking opportunities.
